I first want to say that I really do love these safety glasses and they are immensely helpful for working and welding since I don't have to wear a set of safety glasses over my regular glasses.
The only issue is that the prescription in the lenses are more centered while the glasses sit very low on my face. The thing is that I greatly prefer my eyes being more in the centre of my lenses, so I don't want the prescription adjusted!
I wear a respirator while welding which pushes my glasses up my face anyway, so adjusting the prescription to wear the glasses would naturally sit on my face would actually be a problem because then my vision would be blurry while welding.
I'm quite surprised that the lenses are as large as they are because usually when I purchase glasses, I cannot buy as big of lenses as this since they would be heavy. Besides keeping the safety glasses about 1.5cm above my ears, they are very comfortable and don't feel terribly heavy. All I do while I need to wear my safety glasses is wear a bandana to keep the glasses arms up above my ears so they don't fall down as I work. These also have a really really great tightness around my head that they stay up where I want them if I'm not doing anything particularly sweaty.
I am keeping this pair very happily since they work so well with welding, but I would like to suggest one thing:
Perhaps you all at Stoggles could design a pair of safety glasses where the arms of the glasses attaches to the middle down the side…
